So I got 2nd due to flipping well and I don't want the subscription.

In addition to the obv benefits of having access to instructional content I think it would a good opportunity to become better acquainted with the FTR community as I hope to develop a long standing relationship with its members. Plus I feel I'm on the verge of turning some corner in my ability to play poker well and something like GS might just be the ticket to squash some of my bad habits/leaks.

ever since i was a little boy, i was told things like "youre a worthless piece of shit" and "you're good for nothing". and then i started playing unlimited texas hold them. and then it hit me like a slippery fish. i finally realized after years of suffering that "I comes before E, EXCEPT after C." and my world lit up with unparalleled luminescence. it was at that point i came to shocking conclusions about the world around me including:
- baseball is gay
- george foreman grills are built with an inherent evil inside them
- bop-it is actually a mind reading device
- simon never actually said anything
- black people are actually not black.
- parking meters are actually survelliance monitors.
- kfc and mcdonalds are the same company
- the show "house" is based on life as a farmer
and various other amazing hidden truths. after months of deliberation over these conspiracies and schemes, i came to yet another startling conclusion: being a profeshunal pokar player is my destiny. i need to subscriptalize to grinderacademy because it is my sanctuary and i have to further my pokar knowledge in order to free the united states from the deadly grip of the cabal known only as "evil people incorporated".
give me the password not for me, but do it for your country.

hey, i have stayed away from here and poker for a while, cause i busted like $250 2 years ago due to lack of BR management, boozing, and a combination of the two.
Well i deposited another $100 3 weeks ago and started off on my previous path and donated about 55 of it within 4 days. after tilting and a long walk, i went to sleep and started the next day, moved down to 2nl and started grinding it out.
I'm back up to $78. I invested in poker tracker, the micro one and it says im beating 2nl at around 10bb/100 ~2500 hands.  Maybe im not the right candidate, but i feel liek watching some of those vids would help me get on the right track.
I would really like to be profitable this time around. not only that, but my ultimate goal is to play at mid-stakes just to have some extra cash after i graduate this semester, and start looking for a JOB(just over broke)

haha ouch Robb, down 4 buyins tonight. not looking for sympathy, the bad beats i know are bad (KK cracked by 66, all in PF), ill post some of the questionable ones i wasnt sure of in a new thread tomorrow

I have to chime in here. I joind GS just over a week a go and after watching Spendas 6max series my win rate has just exploded. Ive gone from a breakeve to winning 4pt/bb over 3000 hands at 10nl, small sampl sample size I know, however my understanding of the preflop game and positional awareness has skyrocketed.

I've been at the same stakes since February. Thats about 100K hands in 8 months, and I'm still a loser. Because I truly suck at poker.
Giving to me would be kind of like teaching a hobo how to fish. A service to humanity.

dude, that's hundreds of hours. Just invest $10 in your hobby already. It's like buying a couple of tubes of tennis balls if that's your sport of choice, and most don't bat an eyelid at that.

Yeah, I know.
Don't worry, I've invested in several (like 8) books and a (different) video training site already. Plus I've read all the digest material here and on one or two other sites. But I still seem to have some fundamental problems that I haven't been able to address effectively yet.
