I have spent a considerable amout of time and energy playing only good hands such as Ace-high flushes and Ace-high str8s, only to lose on the river! How do you aviod losing with these "nice" hands? I just can't seem to fold them even when I get that sick feeling that if the river didn"t help me ...it's probably going to HURT me!
If you're not afraid to fail..only then will you succeed !

Wow lol. So this means your constantly running into full houses and qauds??? Find this hard to believe but if you feel you are unsure if you are playing certain hands correctly then post the hand history in this forum and you will get the advice you desire. Are you talking about made flushes and straights?? If not then it could be your chasing draws far too often. If it is made straights and flushes then that really sucks and you can only really put it down to variance. However, post some of your hand histories (without posting results) regardless...
