I play NL25 full ring exclusively and I was wondering what peoples takes are on full ring vs short handed advantages/disadvantages. Also which is more profitable?

SH I'd say. Most play it too passively and don't open their range enough. Aggressiveness and position rules in SH play even more than full ring.

I'm sure if you search for full vs shorthanded in this forum you will find a ton of good threads.

It's really personal preferences but I do think that most of the fish swim in the short handed games.

Shorthanded you'll have a greater advantage if you are good imo. There is more pressure to act (because you pay blinds more often) and hand values are higher (because of less opponents). Longhanded leans more towards nutcamping, which doesn't require that much skill. So if you think you're getting better at hand/flop reads, moving to shorthanded might be a good idea.. but give yourself some time to adjust to the differences. It's a lot more about reads, adapting to the table, playing the board instead of your cards, etc.
