This may be a stupid question but, since the lowest level on FT is $10NL with PS being $2NL, are we to believe that there are more fish on FT at $10NL compared to PS?

Not necessarily. But I definitely wouldn't play 10nl at FT because they charge a massive rake.

Some one can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think FT has better rakeback for 25 NL and up until you are able to achieve supernova status at stars.

Also, I think at 25 NL you should be able to clear FT's $600 sign up bonus.

I'm currently at 10NL playing at stars and plan to move to FT when I go up to 25NL for the rakeback and sign up bonus.

Hope that helps.

it also has 10% rake so whatever edge you may think you have is negated by oh my god I just paid the site more in rake than I won

From all the videos I've made and players I've coached at both PS and FTP there is no doubt in my mind the games are softer on stars at 10 and 25nl.

Add in the fact that I believe the rake % is double at 10nl and it seems like a no brainer in that regard. After that, however, I would guess FullTilt is the way to go if you signed up for rakeback.

Thats ineresting bigspenda. My plan is to move to FT when im rolled for 25nl, i have an account with rakeback but have wasted my first deposit bonus. So is FT + RB > Stars (bronzestar obv) and what about Party?

yeah stars games are softer because 10NL on tilt is 100% rocks trying to clear their bonus/getting RB which makes playing with hudge rake not as bad (still worse than low rake and clearing bonus slower fwiw)

From what I understand party is great if you can play it. There's a lot of sites with decent rakeback and bonuses for non-us players. If you don't play a ton of tables at once (which you probably shouldn't if you're playing 10-25nl) a lot of sites are good. I'd check out bonuswhores and just start jumping from site to site. There's a good guide for that in the online poker rooms forum I think.
Check out my self-deprecation here!

I didn't think about the differences in rake. I do get 27% rakeback at FT but if the rake is higher there than at Stars, I'll probably just stick with Stars until I get past $50NL.

I'm very interested in this, too because I'm in the same boat. I'm currently playing @ Stars @ the micro levels, but I'm trying to think about the future if I am able to keep moving up. I know that I can get Rakeback @ Tilt, but I haven't compared the rake prices yet for the higher levels - specifically the amount saved @ Tilt with rakeback versus the amount saved @ Stars with lower rake. I looked over the game selection @ Tilt and at a cursory glance, there appeared to be more games there than Stars. Does anyone know if that's true? As the stakes get higher are the games softer at one site or is it generally the same?

move to tilt for NL25 since rakeback will be better than whatever the amount of points you can earn on stars

Sounds like a plan. I've never deposited there, just have like $52 on there from various free rolls. I'll take advantage of that 100% bonus up to $600.
