So I found free S&G's at everest poker as well as freerolls that pay cash prizes (S&G's pay in cents), and don't require Fpp's or VIP points, just registration. Although I play at pokerstars with my real account, when I'm having a bad day or go bust on a buy in or two, I figure I'll go somewhere else and try to take advantage and found this one. I know that most sights have some sort of freerolls but does anyone know where there are other rooms that offer $$ games for free, without a deposit (i'm sure they will need info, especially if I plan to withdraw). Basically, I'm thinking of another, albeit slow, way of earning "bonus" money for free. Or maybe if someone goes bust and can't get the wife's Visa for another Neteller deposit, you can make a comeback. Plus I'm sure there are lots of lurkers out there like I was, without a deposit, reading the posts, trying the theories and looking for a better game than the 15 year old maniacs that play the free chips(all in, reload, all in, reload...). Has anyone ever made the jump from freerolls to a BR successfully? Do ya think it can be done if the time and patience is there. Anyone up for the challenge?

At unibet where I play there are freerolls everyday. I used to play them in those few days after I joined but before I made my deposit. At 14h there is a $200 MTT, at 19h (GMT+1) there is a $1000 MTT. Then at 02h30 and 07h there are two more $1000 MTTs, sometimes they are free for all, sometimes they require 100 raked hands, this varies.
The $200 usually has around 6k people (totally not worth it imho, ITM is like top 30) and the $1000 around 10k people. (those after midnight are at around 4-5k people) The $1000 freerolls still takes a lot of time to plow through 10k people to get to top 260 itm. Just now I made 419/4528.. this is not too hard but you need one or two lucky breaks to get ITM. I once made place 39 which netted me around $3 or so.

I know people who have played 10/20 NL and won seats to the WSOP after starting with freerolls.

It's decent practice once you get into the second half of the field, I guess - if you have no BR, or want to play and learn for free, go for it, though unless you're an absolute beginner you really might as well play $2 or $5 MTTs as people will take them slightly more seriously and there's a chance you might come away a few bucks up.

So I just played a freeroll at absolute and in the first two rotations i'd put in 2 rounds of blinds and out of 2000 it was down to 860 and was still at level II. by the end of level IV 260 people left. seems to me it's free money for anyone looking to start under the conditions I spoke of earlier. @ Everest I've won three S&G's in a row and my total winnings is 15 cents and I'm aboutto enter my fourth. This one is a 0.04+0.01 so we'll keep ya posted.
