I've been impressed by stax and nuts offering various coaching opportunities for 50nl and 100nl level players. I won't pretend to have much expertise, but I do think I could help most 10nl players. So here's the deal. Participate in my "classic FTR" threads. Those who post the most interesting and reflective comments about these threads (and pm me, so I know you're interested) will receive some free coaching.
First Prize: an hour-long sweat session with a follow up analysis of 50 HH's
Second Prize: 75 HH review
To qualify, you must:
1. Be using PT or HM
2. Play 5nl or 10nl as your main stakes (25nl's can compete for this if they'd like, but I'm not promising anything really helpful for them)
3. Either 6m or FR is fine
4. Reply to one or more of the threads below and reply to follow up threads in the series.
5. PM me to let me know your stakes, game and that you're interested in winning the coaching.
The winner will be announced in early March so that I can do the coaching over Spring Break. I'm looking for good replies in the threads that demonstrate you've read and tried to understand what's been said in the thread, and how you plan to incorporate the thoughts into your game.
For the next five weeks, I will post two weekly series, the "FTR Classic Rethreads" on Mondays and the "Hump Day Bumps" on Wednesdays. Here are links to the first 3. You do NOT have to reply to all or even half of the threads to qualify, you just have to demonstrate you're getting something out of them.
Why these threads? They are AWESOME vintage FTR content, posted by some of the greatest players on FTR, with discussion points from many other FTR icons. Noobies, don't reinvent the flat tire - just read these great threads for solid gold poker advice.

I would consider you for second place - just reviewing HH's. You can get those as text, and I can import them into HEM. BTW, how do you analyze your game without HEM or PT? What tools are you using?
AC, I will be back in IRC some - it's goot. But I try to grind fully focused on poker, and IRC doesn't help. I like it on Sundays when I'm freerolling various bonus MTT's and not really grinding. But I haven't had time even to grind lately, so "play time" is completely gone from my schedule.

Poker Copilot, the only non Windows-purchasing option. It's quite good but nowhere near as in depth as PT/HEM. And Pokerstove, since Miekecoskcwi (not his name but similar spelling. Not really but close enough) was kind enough to post how to do so on a Mac.
