Villian is 54/10/2.4 (only 30~ hands). after the river 5bet I was in Oh $*(@ mode and should of either folded or pushed, no sense in calling. On the river I was doing some sketchy guesswork. When if ever do I need to let this go?

first of all lead the flop for 0.6, check calling such a weak bet with such a big hand is way weak. Then you can lead the turn for say 2/3rds pot and villains dont always give you credit for a flush, whilst if you check call then checkraise or donk the turn they do. As played when he minraises the river im a bit unsure whether to raise or just flat, with hindsight I flat but usually ill raise to 7.50 and expect to see 8s call me down. Once he 4 bets you have to fold, I cant see when your ever good here.

You're not putting money in until you're beat, instead of while your equity is ginormous. I'd bet/reraise the flop infinitely and def. jam the turn.

I definitely agree that you should raise the flop - 4-5x. With both the flush outs and the open-ended straight draw you have a ton of outs if he calls. plus, if he raises THEN, you can get out of the hand before you ship your whole stack to them.

After the flop you're 54% to make either your flush or straight. You need to bet pretty large (I like 4-5x BB also) while you're ahead. He'd probably call and you can push him on the turn. If he pushes all-in with his 2 pair on the flop you are completely warranted in calling based on the pot-odds.

I don't understand how you slowplay a superdraw. Maybe a big made hand, sure... but a draw? You have sick equity vrs any range. Throw all of your chips at the pot until the dealer ships it your way!
