Ok im new to poker and have been playing for about 2 weeks now, ive been reading about slow playing and trying to squeeze the most out of oppenents when you have the top hands.

So i am playing NL at 0.01/0.02 and it would be good to know if I played this well or badly or how i could have done better. I suppose i should have raised on the flop or turn but i thought it might scare him away so i called and waited until the river but im guessing i raised too much, making him fold

Chances are he was folding to any raise you made in the hand. I would have raised the flop or turn because he may continue with pocket pairs or weak kings, and if he has something weaker, oh well, he wasn't going to bite anyway.

Being that everyone limped in, he probably doesn't have much, since you have most of it on the flop. I bet if you raised anywhere in the hand he just would of folded. At least he paid you some, to the river. Not much you can do with this hand.

Raising the flop would have been more likely to drive out the limpers behind you. They folded anyway, but I like your call on the flop. You could have raised the turn, but your call there got rewarded by the villain making quite a decent sized bet on the river. At that point, the villain has fired three times into the pot and you have his curiousity working for you, so I think that was the best point to raise in this hand. I think you played it well.

I didnt see the straight coming here which was a bit stupid and the guy is quite a tight player and i thought he just had an ace.
