Can't use the hand converter because it doesn't work with Poker Office.

Probably should have raised the flop bet but do you lay this down?

fold as played, but with flopped straights like that just get it in on the flop because you're afraid of a card like the turn coming where you can only split with any 8 and the flush draw got there

There are ALOT of cards we don't want to see on the turn with this board.
ANY spade(bcuz it often kills the action, and you may easily be behind.)
Any jack ten or nine.
Any Q, K, 8, 7

this is the important decision. You need plans when you play a hand, not just reactions to a situation (until the reaction has a plan implicit, but looks like this isn't the case for you here)

So I should have 3 bet here and laid it down if I faced aggression rather than just calling?

BTW, you forgot about Q8. Which is what he had. We both flopped a straight but he had the higher end.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
