PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($4.93)
MP ($3.51)
Button ($1.43)
SB ($2.19)
BB ($3.97)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, A.
Hero raises to $0.08, 1 fold, Button calls $0.08, SB calls $0.07, 1 fold.

Flop: ($0.26) 6, 6, A (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.08, Button folds, SB calls $0.08.

Turn: ($0.42) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($0.42) T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.15, SB calls $0.15.

Final Pot: $0.72

I always find myself winning small pots with my monsters b/c I get afraid to scare people out of the pot with big bets. How do you play the flop, turn and river for maximal extraction (no reads on villains)?

bet more on flop. Closer to .25 or so. Then bet turn.

When you flop a monster it is almost always correct (especially at microstakes) to BET BET BET and hope someone has something worth stacking off. If they didnt, you werent going to get anything anyway.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.

u just gotta hope they have an ace, 6, or flush draw, and bet enough for those hands to call.
make sure u raise and bet at enough flops that they question whether u have a hand or not too.

Yeah r/b/b/b is the obvious line here. I bet a little more on the flop about 3/4 of pot. (your c-bets should be in that range anyway) Somtimes nobody has anything to call you with and that sucks, but if they have trash they wont call anything so just hope they have a piece and bet beet bet.

Part of being good at nl is getting paid off. You need to be raising and betting the flop from possition as much as possible. (trust me the folds will more then pay for times you have to let go) When i bet a flop (if im playing good) my opps have no idea weather i have the nuts, a piece or air. Why? cause i always c-bet the same amount. If ive been missing alot of hands and c/folind the turn alot then wheni do get called on the flo i normally c/c the turn and lead the river. If its early i probly just pot the turn to try and make it look like im trying to push them off the hand. Somtimes ill even go as far as to lead the turn weak (aginst agressive players) in hopes that they will raise.

just remember raise and bet from possition as much as the cards let you, this will make it harder for your oppents to know when you have a hand and when you dont. Not to mention the times you raise with 67s and flop a st or somthing. NLH is an action game, get in there or get out

u just have to bet

if this was omaha and you had AA66 then there's a case for checking.

Just bet and hope he has a 6 or a flush that won't go away

gotta bet the flop harder. I can see a turn check to get some more river value, but usually we just bet every st. and hope opponent has a hand.

The only time I wouldnt bet is when I -know- villain is going to bet if I don't first. But you have to be sure he's going to, and thats pretty difficult at this level.
