Flopped 2 pair, board gone to shit.

Default Flopped 2 pair, board gone to shit.

    Button (€89.42)
    SB (€110.95)
    Hero (BB) (€100)
    UTG (€163.24)
    MP (€85.47)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, J
2 folds, Button bets €2, SB calls €1.50, Hero calls €1

    Flop: (€6) 10, J, A (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets €4, Button calls €4, SB calls €4

    Turn: (€18) 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets €12, Button calls €12, SB calls €12

    River: (€54) 9 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets €47, 1 fold, Hero folds

Villain is an unknown, only been at the table about 10 hands. The SB is also an unknown (30 hands and nothing notable so far). Is anyone looking up the river given the busted flush draw? Any other comments - I'm not sure I like the call preflop myself, and looking back I hate my flop sizing and I'm not keen on the turn sizing either.

I think you can 3bet pre, but calling a min raise with AJ doesn't seem horrible. I'd probably c/r this flop due to the button being the pfr, but if I'm donking then I'm firing more, somewhere in the region of $4.60. Turn sizing is ok imo.

I'm not calling the river. How many busted flush draws hold the Qd? Seems likely that one of these guys has a combo draw. Standard river fold.

I didn't want to give the button the chance to check behind, and if we c/r and get 3bet it sucks. I really think donking is superior here, but I am certainly interested to hear alternative views and reasons for checkraising.

pre i like squeezing to iso the sb fish
i probably check/donk this flop about 70-30 or something
river is a fold as played, i mean, you look like a busted draw and stuff but I would need reads to call here

I lead flop for sure. So much checks back that we don't want to see a free card and it allows us to get stacks in much more easily.

I squeeze pre because it's printing money either way (because I'm assuming an unknown min-opening the button is opening wide). He either calls worse (in which case, we get value), or he only calls with better, which means he folds SO much that we're just printing money against hands that will have the upper hand against us otherwise with position and initiative when we have bad relative position in a 3-way pot.
