There's tonnes of spots where overbetting is >>> betting any other amount. One clear cut example that comes to mind without history or specific reads is overbetting NFDs and the such to get looser villains to fold weaker parts of their range but still continue with the parts that will pay us off the times we do bink at which point the pot is now huge. Ezgame. | |

yeah sorry i meant in this particular spot. i can't imagine being called down by anything other than chops/T7 in this spot given how much strength we are repping. i just feel the greater % calls we get when we bet 4/5 pot or whatever will yield a higher EV than over-betting and only getting action from the top of their ranges. | |
