After losing my initial deposit of $50 into paradise poker and buying another $50 I was down to my last $13. While I had been making making major improvements to my game and even placing in several 5+1$ sngs I was still losing overall. I think this was mostly due to lack of patience.
Anyway figuring I didn't have much to lose I entered another sng. With patience, skill, and a little luck I was able to get my first 1st place finish netting me $25 and putting me closer to my former bankroll.
Since this time I have been playing ring games exclusively and been winning consistently. I have even cleared my first bonus of $10.
I'd like to emphasize to anyone starting out playing NLE that patience is a key factor in becoming a winning player. I am by no means a great player but by diligently following the super system principles I have ben able to become a winner. I also always take a break if I've lost 2 buy-ins in row.
If anyone wants any help with their game I'd love to try and help. I find most times that as beginner in something you can stand to learn the most from someone a level or two above you as opposed to a pro becuase they have just gone through what you have very recently.

nice post
Very true.
By all means, this is the forum where we all learn and indeed poker is about learning all along, you never know it all so to speak.
Congrats on the win and may it be the first of many

That's very generous. Be careful not to get ahead of yourself. Most in your position will bust several more times before moving up a couple levels. It's ok. It happened to all of us. Also, you'll learn more from other players than Super System can ever teach you. The game is always evolving, and books by nature are stagnant. Eventually you'll join the flow of the current state of the game. Good luck with that. Please share your experiences with all the new players. I hope you become a big time winning player.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
