I dont know what happened. I was there being my usual "nitty" self and suddenly it just clicked. I know understand that you can play without premium hands and win long term.
Thanks to Stacks for putting that seed into my mind the other month. I now know what you mean.
I cut my poker month into thirds so 1st-9th,10th-19th and 20th - end.
This thirds profit was at a meagre $85 and suddenly. BAM. its up at $241.
NB I usually play at $10nl but I stepped down to $4nl for an evening chill out and you can make some reasonable dosh (for a low stakes player). Its near impossible not go get paid off on hands. Players only seem to slowplay. Ever. And there are always some hands that make you think "is that dude on day release from the special home?"
Anyway. lets put ABC behind me and make this a $500 ten days!

don't get too excited. i can guarantee you you're on a heater and that a -B/E day is just around the corner. congrats on making so much money but PLEASE don't expect to make 25 BI over 10 day periods in the future.

Non ABC poker is good now??? Why would spenda, spoon, staxx, iopq, mcatdog, xianti, courtiebee, rilla, zilla, griffey, Marshall28, etc, etc... all lie to me???

Wow, quick reply.
This is $10nl and my usual third split is about $240. That is an average figure sample over the last 3months - since I hit my BR target and started banking. And that IS just under 25 buy ins.
Just because it isnt the norm at mid and high stakes doesnt mean it isnt done at micro stakes.
I dont think 50buy ins is beyond the realms of possibility.

That's funny, I'm just getting back to ABC poker. I've been getting way out of hand lately with FCP. I bet damn near all of the now low-stakes players who grinded out the micro limits played ABC poker... and the ones that didn't just got lucky or went on some major heaters.

@ OP: I'm hoping what you meant to say was "ABC is the foundation sh!t which is righteous, and since I got that sh!t grilled I've been extending myself through some extended and deeper knowledge into contemplating adding a D and maybe a E while boldicating my applications of the previous three alphabeticals."
