Ok, who here has noticed that premium hands in party poker happen a hell of a lot more often than in regular games? Am I just crazy? I've was playing for my first time yesterday and almost every hand someone gets a straight or flush. I don't think there was one game where anyone won with just two pair. I was playing in $25 NL. I actually flopped 2 straights, I also recall flopping a full house, which I know happens but it seemed to happen almost every hand with someone. Thoughts??

O yes, and I only played for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I know it's probably just me, I actually did pretty well but it just seemed there were too many premium hands...

Yup.

Streaks are going to happen if it's really random.

I'd worry about the places that you seem to never have a bad streak at before I’d worry about a place where your AA was cracked by AK twice in a row.

Like last night in one 6 person SnG I took down half the pots without a single bluff.

Sets, 2 pair, ect... over and over.

Those things will happen at times.

But any non randomness is going to be found by the people that use pokertracker and other programs like that. They will have hundreds of thousands of starting hands and would quickly see any non randomness.

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?
