I signed up for empirepoker and deposited $50 because it says here I will get $25. I used the link form this site and signed up only to find they were only giving me 20% which was $10. I emailed them and they replied "you get 10%". What should I do? I already played over 100 raked hands too (kept winning). Was I supposed to put a code in? This site says it's not necessary.

Email them again.

They'll budge.

If they don't, you learn a valuable lesson. 50 bucks is a horrible bankroll for the party skins.

I only play the .25/.50 tables and I'm playing fairly conservative. Plus, I took my $50 and turned into $125 in less than 6 hours of play. If I knew they would only give me the 20% I would have put in $500. I have backup cash available anyway.

No matter how conservative you are, $50 is horrible crippled for a .25/.50 NL game.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I must be missing something. The max buy-in at those tables is $25 right? So, why do I need more than $50? I wish they were higher. I has two all-in fullhouses in my first 9 hands.

I emailed empire and hinted I wanted the $25 or I'll play elsewhere. They told me that I could still get the 20% bonus if I made another deposit via IGpay. No $25 for me. So, I just cashed out into my neteller account. I'll get the $25 bonus from partypoker.

I read that before. I understand what you mean. I play multiple sites so keeping my money in Neteller instead of in my account at empire makes more sense to me. I can move money between accounts easier. It also helps me to mentally recover if I lose big. Instead of immediately reloading and trying to "get my money back from that dude", I have to go to the cashier and make a transfer (instant). By that time I take a break and/or calm down.

Right now I"m playing a higher % of my bankroll than you recommend but I'll have to deal (no pun intended). Anyone who thinks I'm handicapping myself can take my money at the tables I guess.

Bankroll is your total bankroll designated for poker play, not necessarily the money you have deposited in any given site.
