So i took 3rd in the afternoon $3.30+ earlier this week for ~3.8K.
/brag
Now that I have multiplied my roll by like 6x, my question is: how should this affect what i play?
Im now comfortably rolled for 100NL and almost 200 but I dont feel like I would have an edge in the game. At the same time i dont want to play sloppy at 10/25NL since the buyins, winnings, and losses would seem miniscule in comparison.
I have also gottin a lot into playing donkaments, and might try to play them more regularly. And it's weird fom going from a microstakes roll to being able to play the small and medium stakes comfortably.
Suggestions and comments on if I should play where I still feel like I'm taking a risk to make sure I play good poker
(but risk getting owned by players way above my level) or stay where I feel I have an edge on other players and risk playing bored and sloppy and just donking off money.

Keep playing the stakes you're at until you can demonstrate winning rates over a large sample size. When you can show 3ptBB/100 over no less than 20k hands at a level, then move up. Othewise, you'll get crushed at the higher levels.
You could also just decide to cash out part and have a little fun.

I'd probably start at like 25 or 50NL and invest in a nice coach

Not really sure what the coaches at FTR charge nowadays but there were some really good ones who gave you a great deal. Deucescracked has a list of coaches as well as the 2+2 forums in their coaches subforum.

If you want to focus on cash games and not mtt's right now, why not just withdraw down enough to play 25 or 50nl? Leave enough to play the occasional tourney and use the rest to grind. Its a win win

withdraw 2.5k and enjoy making poker money real.
play 50nl, if you all below $1k then drop to 25nl, and grind on up.
otherwise, move to 100nl on Full Tilt and make sure to let everyone here know what name you play under...

lollll.......
gratz on the big win! Don't move up too quickly, it'll just be frustrating and you will be throwing away money. Good luck on your decision.
