Don't have the HH for this unfortunately.

Viallian was an pretty solid player for 25NL. I've played with him a few times. He's defo the type that prefers flatting in position lots rather than having a wide 3 bet range. Here I'm thinking it's mostly likely 22-QQ + suited connectory type hands.

25NL Hero: $27 Villain: $35

Hero is UTG with As Ah and raises to $1, Villain calls on BU, BB calls.

Flop: 10h 10s 2h ($3.25)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.30, Villain calls, BB folds

Turn: 3h ($7.85)
Hero bets $6, Villain calls.

River: 7c ($19.85)
Hero bets $15.70 all in

Sorry if this is at all standard - running like utter crap right now and getting paranoid about my play in certain stackings that may/may not be coolers.

probably a bit too thin. i might go for three streets but use smaller betsizing since i dont expect to be a favorite against his range for calling everything off

Yeah feared it was a bit thin. So as played I mean should we check behind turn for pot control then bet river since we have Ah - or is it even better to c/f river?[/quote]

Odd, I'd have bet a lot more on the flop, Perhaps even potted the flop,

And then I'd have bet much less on the turn and the river if I went all 3 streets here.

Why doesn't the range you're behind pop you back on the turn though? I would think whatever you're putting in the money on the river, if opponent hasn't raised, you're way more likely to be ahead, than behind since Villain is solid.

The more I think about it, the more I think that JTs that's not hearts is the only hand that isn't slapping you back on the turn.

That having been said, I'm only at 5nl, so perhaps I'm not considering something.

The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?
