i was just wondering if a push here would be just god awful. I do not have poker tracker so i dont have any stats on the opponents but the 2 in the pot are very loose players that have been folding to aggression, although both of these cards are cards that both of them could raise a hand/call a raise with, i was just wondering if a push is the awful move 9 times out of 10. I mean my tournament life isnt on the line because there are rebuys so idk, advise me please.

jiggerjake23: bets 1130 and is all-in
fapona01: folds
jerrikoch: folds
jiggerjake23 collected 320 from pot
jiggerjake23: doesn't show hand

I think betting first it's a pretty risky move. If he had the 10 (or heaven forbid 2 of them) or a queen you'd be toast.

IMO

i know it was probably a stupid play but i guess what im asking is, is it ok to make stupid plays like these in a rebuy tournament because if they both fold (which they did) then i get a nice pot, if they call i can just rebuy, it wasnt an expensive tournament.

I don't play many rebuy tournaments but I'd like to think if I did that I wouldn't be looking to rebuy...I'd rather try to make it work and play my normal game from the get go.

The few rebuys I have played in I've noticed that people who do bust right away and rebuy will generally bust again shortly thereafter. Just a state of mind thing for me.

Don't go into a rebuy tourney looking to avoid a rebuy. That's like taking a peashooter into a nuclear war.

That said, pushing here is bad. Rebuys tend to be looser and people are looking to double up. You'll get called by a Q. You'll get called by a ten. You'll get called by any straight draw or any two spades.... all of which are going to at least have overs to outdraw you.

Check fold the flop. No push.

thanks fortune...say it was the exact same hand only the board was something like 848 rainbow, same laydown or is a push better here. Like its definatly a fold because im pushing against a preflop raise with no info on any of my foes adn the q and 10 are definatly cards they could hvae held in their hands

2 whole accounts, that's not even in the top twenty around here. You would need to get banned, have another account, get banned again, have 3 gimmick accounts and also highjack a friends to make top 3.

If you're going to just call preflop there, then I like a push on that flop.

I don't know your br, but there are two ways to play during the rebuy hour. One is to take -EV situations and hope that you suckout and build a big stack knowing that you can rebuy. When you do this you have the added benefit of adding chips to the table which, theoretically, you will be taking back later in the tourney. The other approach is to play tight and just let the guys who are taking the above approach dump chips into your lap.

I hate pushing the flop, you're at best a flip even if you just get called by something like 89 or AK, and you'll often be drawing to the 2 outer.

CR AI makes more sense if you want to gamble.

edit for spleeing
