Post subject: Do I need to work on my poker putdowns?

So last night I'm playing a sng and down to the last 4 or so guys (out of 9) and I'm short stacked. I get AA dealt and raise it maybe 4 times the big blind (vs going all in) because I wanted to get at least one caller. I get one. Flop is A,8,3 diamonds. I figure the chances of this guy having two diamonds aren't great (not sure really) but there isn't going to be a better time than now so I push. He calls and flips over 9,9 one of them diamond. Next card is a diamond so he's flush and I'm standing up to walk away from the PC and then another 3 comes...full house I win...
The guy starts going off on me about how I'm a FISH and how I sucked out...pocket Aces with an Ace on the flop and he's got 4 out of 5 diamonds and I sucked out? The guy wouldn't let it go either...for the rest of the tourney he wouldn't shut up about how bad of a call that was etc etc...and of COURSE he was the guy that busted me later on (which sucked SO bad) on another hand in which after seeing the hold cards I was in favor (THERE YOU GO AGAIN YOU FISH WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?)
So...the moral of this story is...if having 3 aces vs. just about any hand is now considered fishing...then call me Orlando Wilson

I find replaying along the lines of "Yep, you're right. In fact i should have folded pre-flop." does the job.
Barring that call him a smelly c unt. ie a bit fishy....

You need to stop worrying about it. Who cares what he thinks. You will be moving sites next week or the week after, or next month. You have another game to play, another tourney, another S&G. Move on, Get'er done. When that happens, just type NH and take his stack at the first opportunity. Guys like that are why we win, why we move up. He probably thinks a flush draw is like a 90% chance against your crap set. Fuck'em, you will be playing the $55's with a $3K+++ BR, while he's redepositing $50 for the 500th time next year, to play some POKA.

Sometimes I say "lolz" or "NICE HAND SIR" when im feeling frisky.... but usually I just don't reply. Learn to laugh when bad beats happen and not only will it help your poker career but it'll make you a stronger person.

I dunno why this dude got under my skin so much...I usually don't say anything...really messed with me for the rest of the time too...was trying to make sure he didn't beat me instead of trying to win myself...
Oh well...won't make that mistake again.

The only bad response is letting it bother you. I sometimes ignore it, sometimes say something like 'yeah, I suck'. Let 'em think you suck. That's a good thing.

I usually just ignore them or reply "yeah, you're right, I suck at this".
DON'T:
- Get steamed up and start playing badly (this may have been exactly what he wanted you to do)
- Mention Sharkscope, don't let the fish figure out that they're down $3,000 - they might stop playing
- Mention that you were a 72% favourite when the money went in - no need to educate the fish!

98% of the time I ignore it. When do say something it's usually saying things like I had 13 outs when I actually had a gutshot or that it was a "coinflip" when it obviously wasn't.

last night i had a fish berate me for about 2 minutes for pushing my 15 flop outs and hitting 2. I just let him finish his big essay on the hand and typed "O RLY". He tilted another 4 buyins.

on occassion it might be ...
