Extremely marginal out of position preflop, but I had shown down great hands before, had been playing tight, and generally only bet when I had the goods. I had shown several times that I was only calling reraises preflop with pocket pairs or AQ/AK.

I felt this guy was weak-tight postflop.

Do I double-barrel here and continuing representing AK/KQ? With such a dry board, I don't know what he's just calling on the flop with, would have to be TT or JJ? The turn bothered me because I felt he might have QQ.

1 - please use a hand converter b4 posting
2 - ur open is fine, fold preflop to the 3b, u cant play 67s in a 3bet pot OOP profitably
3 - if a player is weak/tight, he mostly isnt going to be 3betting you lightly
4 - dont donk bet the flop and definitely dont double barrel

#3 makes #2 a lot less of a mistake imo

I still most likely fold though, IP I probably call

You put in 1/4 of your stack with 7 high. I'm not an expert, but I don't think this is good.

I would not ususally raise there with sc's... pretty hard to hit a monster with them, pretty easy to catch a weak pair + some kind of draw that gets you in trouble. K8s would be a much better hand to raise here imo.
I don't get the call. You really need a miracle flop here. Is his 3-bet range so wide that you can be somewhat comfortable if you flop a pair?

Yeah, I mean think about how much FE we have if we hit a nice draw. Not to mention the flops we hit a hidden two pair or trips.

Raising SCs in earlier positions vs. tight opponents is better than raising a hand like K8s. Equity wise vs. their calling range there isn't a huge different and you can also play your hand a lot easier.

We should never be calling a 3bet with a low SC for value so I wouldn't say it's profitable to be comfortable with just hitting a pair most of the time.
