I'm doing really well right now at the 25 level, and have upped my BR almost 500%. I'm gonna continue to play a little bit more, but I'm curious, how much tougher does the competition get when you move up to those stakes? Right now most of my pots come from stupid decisions of other players, and buy's off the flop from me. I'm curious how long I can rely on the stupidity of other people to make money for me?

On UB play is very similar .25/.5 blinds to .5/1. Biggest reason I prefer .5/1 is most people buy in for at least 50 bucks... sometimes at the .25/.5 tables you're sitting there with 50-75 bucks and everyone else at the table has ten... not enough pay off on your big hands.

I've not played 100NL, but the difference isn't much between 25NL and 50NL.
I guess in 25NL you see a lot more people willing to push with any pocket pair, AK etc before the flop. They've been watching short-stacks at the end of the WSOP.
However, you can play roughly the same game in 50NL as 25NL, and you make double when you get some sucker all-in. 'Course, you lose double when he sucks out...
But it's the same old overvaluing TP, overpairs, and the like. Too much slowplaying, letting you hit your big hand. And most of all, a total disregard for money.

Players at the $100 buy-in no limit tables where I play can be amazingly stupid. They aren't much smarter than the $50 players.

I don't see much difference, but the sites that show the % seeing flop percentage usually show less players in for the flop as the limit/stakes go up.

People are generally tighter at 100nl, you still get a fair number of fish, compared to mostly all fish in 25nl and stuff. People are much more aggressive there, and the players are definately much better at 100nl. Hands like flush draws go down in value, because alot of players know to cut off your odds, and can fold when the flush card hits. Concealed hands like trips and pocket pairs go up in value because of peoples aggression, and inability to figure out what you have.
I've actually found pokerstars 100nl to be relatively fishy, and party poker to be filled with decent players. Although i haven't logged alot of hands on those two sites.

I've played at every level of NL on party poker. From what I can tell, play steadily gets better and better the further up you go. I thought there was a larger difference between 25NL and 50NL than 50NL and 100NL in terms of skill level, and theres a defintely a huge jump up when you get to 200NL.
