I made the AI call on this one figuring only AA would beat me, and with no PFR that was unlikely. Should I have backed away from stacking this?

Man, you gotta check these posts before you post them.

Anyway, I probably c/r the turn, then push the river.

I'd be all in on the flop, if opp flopped a better hand I'm paying it off every time.

deuces don't call raises at these stakes?

I get it all in, sure. But you can't figure only AA beats you. 88 is certainly a hand that beats you, and certainly there's people calling with deuces.

Yeah... that's an "oops" on my part with the 88. However, I didn't see the 2 coming. Couldn't think of much with a 2 in it that would call a 4BB MP raise OOP. I guess would be an okay call for A2s or 23s? Or is that just my "limit" head thinking???

If he can stack you every time he outflops you for 100BBs, it's not a bad call.

As played, it's a bad call. But that doesn't mean it's not in his range. He's clearly a terrible player.

You can't just say "well, if he has a XX, that's a bad play" and then stack off your chips. They make bad plays. And you make those plays worse by not paying off.

Anyway, you played it fine in this spot.
