does any one around here play crypto (interpoker, sun...) 50 nl or 25....and if so do you find 50 nl to be rediculously more difficult than 25 nl?? I always make loads of money at 25 but my 50nl pretty much sucks...and i'm not sure if it is just crappy luck...(i.e. trips getting beat by higher trips on flop...fullhouses losing to quads...straights to runner runner flushes...etc.)...but even despite that bad luck it does seem much more difficult...any comments?? what is 50nl like at other sites?? or how about 100nl at crypto sites???

I just moved from $25nl to $50nl at Pokerroom/Holdem/Hollywood. I am slightly less profitable in $50nl as I was in $25nl (9BB/100 vs 11BB/100) but the sample size is a little low to make any conclusions yet (5k vs 27K). What I can say, however, is that I have changed my game a little in $50nl. In short, I am more agressive overall (pre-flop and post) and therefore I tend to take most pots down pre-flop or on the flop. I noticed that there are less calling stations and a lot more fold equity. So, it is slightly more of a game of playing the players and a little bit less about what cards you have.

you know it is funny...i seem to have no fold equity at 50nl...even w/ pf raises...for example a-k or a-q, whatever...if i dont hit i almost never take down a pot w/ a continuation bet...and only once in a while on turn...the funny thing is that i know that alot of times they are calling when they shouldn't because i see at showdown that they have drawn out against me on river or called w/ something rediculous....like pocket 3's...but of course when i have a big pp everyone magically knows when to fold pf w/ the same size raise as the rest of my raises. it's really weird and whenever i play at 50 i feel like i completely blow...but as soon as i hit a couple 25 nl tables i am usually making money right off the bat...maybe i am cursed to grind out 25nl for the rest of my life. maybe i'll just have to start 10 tabling the 25nl.

Part of it could be your table image. Some PT stats for ya:
$50nl, Pokerroom/Holdem/Hollywood:
# Hands: 5256
pf raise: %5.25 (low now but it has been rising every day...should hit about 8-9%)
VP$IP: 14.33%
WTSD: 19.2%
W$SD: 61%
Folded to my pf raise: 43.6%
overall agression factor (including pre-flop): 1.15
In $25nl, only 23.4% folded to my pf raise. I am seeing almost double that rate (43.6%) in $50nl so I raise very liberally now, esp with position. Check your "more detail" tab and let me know what your "First Action on Flop after a preflop raise", "No Flop/No Action" % is.
Could just be the site you are playing but then again I know others in this forum who also play on Pokerroom that say they don't see the same results as I do when raising pf/c-betting the flop. Go figure.

I've probably played 50-60k hands at Inter and Sun this year, on a part time basis...and I love the easy $100 bonus each month and my 30% rakeback at Inter.
Overall crypto is a great fish tank with some of the weakest competition out there at 25NL and 50NL. With some work, you can kill 25NL AND 50NL at crypto playing relatively straight up solid, power poker.
I think the main difference is that you need to be a bit craftier at 50NL than 25NL to maximize WR, but an overall solid, uber-TAG game will generate cash. E.g., 25NL will put all their chips in on TPGK, while 50NL won't give them away that easily...but pretty close. And you'll still get 50NL'ers pushing with junk to take pots postflop, but they are far more rare than at 25NL.
Keep in mind that everyone has some difficulty moving up, based simply on the fear of losing DOUBLE the buy-in you put at risk at your previous level. So, make sure you are over bankrolled so you don't play scared and I think you will learn quickly.
Finally, Party and Stars are WAY tougher than Crypto at 50NL, so you are playing at the right place to move up....keep at it!! CK

I've played there alot. IMO, the GBP tables are softer by far than the USD tables. I'd recommend you play those if they are running, as many of the players will be fish from UK sports betting sites such as William Hill. I have seen some great $100 games too, although I'm not rolled to sit in them at the moment.
Also, it's worth checking out the Pot Limit tables. They don't run often, but when they do they are some of the loosest games I have seen.
