Late night, I've dropped a level to move some chips. I'm by far the most active aggressive player at the table having taken down a lot of small pots and caught bluffing in one.

Neither opponent is a multi-tabling tag. Both probably play fairly loose pre-flop, certainly compared to the nits filling a couple other seats.

any timing tells on turn in hand 1. that helps me decide his range some. tough spot as always esp if it looks like he is value betting since we lean closer to a call. given they are loosih preflop id tend to fold here since i dont think theyll vb a Q.

Hand 2 is tough, we are either flipping or behind. if he made the raise larger i cud find a tight fold. here id call and defo not raise and try see a good turn card. if he fires again (on non scare card) ill have trouble since our equity vs his flop range has increased (bcoz now only one card is unknown ie river. shoving over turn bets is poor i think since we will fold alot of what we are ahead of (unless hes a fish) while calling sucks too bcoz we give him a chance to catch up or shove on us on river (plus our hand is face up).
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

Id bet the river in 1, opp isnt good enough to bluff raise here wit ha worse hand.

I hate this spot in 2. Most opps i play with only raise here with us drawing to 2 outs so its normally a bad spot to do anything but muck

If this was full ring I would agree. I think the 6-max ranges are wider.

Agreed. But if all the money goes in were gambling or crushed.

Hand 1: I check/called becaue I felt I had enough showdown value and wanted to see WTF he's calling me down with. I figured the information was worth taking a sub-optimal line.
Hand 2: I had a feeling he was trying to push me around on the flop and took what I think is the best line if I'm not going to just give up on the flop. Full ring, the ranges seem to be tigher here and I'd lay it down.

Fnord, it has always been a mistery to me:
- If you play poker as a job
- How much you play online and live
- What your regular stakes are
- What your poker history is
- Where your theoretical knowledge of poker comes from
