Villain was 33/10

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP2 ($15.60)
MP3 ($4.60)
CO ($11.45)
Hero (Button) ($10)
SB ($2.10)
BB ($9.70)
UTG ($10)
UTG+1 ($6.05)
MP1 ($10.55)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, J
2 folds, MP1 bets $0.40, 2 folds, CO calls $0.40, Hero??

Villain 26/11...His minraise pf seemed pretty weak to me. The real meat of the hand is on the turn. Which was a weak bet by him again.

Here is my line of thinking:

H1: I wanted to be heads up with my hand. I think set mining with JJ is a little too nitty. I could be wrong....

H2: I felt villains turn was where he showed the true value of his hand. His line seemed too weak to really have any sub par holdings. With that being my read, should I raise to around 2.10 mark? Or is calling better for pot control and re-evaluate river?

you're not folding on a 237 flop if you have JJ so you're not set mining

call and reevaluate turn. if a blank rolls off and he fires another PSB then you have to think about folding

Hoopy is an unknown quantity at this point
1) Raise it to $1.70 ish to get heads up.

2) Anyone like raising the turn here as a semi bluff? If thats stupid then call to draw at your straight.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
