bad play number 1:
KJo
UTG+1
1st mistake - I called
flop Q9x
lots of raising action, and i folded it
turn
x
river
10, of course
I understand why I should not have called, but being in the game with 4 outs should I have chased the 9? I don't think so, because there were full raisings on the flop and on the turn by 3 other guys, although I missed a really big pot!

bad play number 2:
TT mid position
raise
flop T2x
reraise and 3 more people were playing
turn
2
1st guy raises and I, dumb as I am, reraised, knocking the other 2 guys away from my full. 1st guy called, checked on the turn and i raised, he calls. I missed 2-3 big bets by not calling it on the turn, since at least one of the other guys would have called and 1st guy would have raised again on the river.

It's good to be able to see my mistakes, but please correct me if I am missing something in my thinking.

I think the reraise with the 10's was correct. They may have not even called the first bet anyway.

1st hand, it's a mistake to think it matters if your straight comes up after you folded. You probably made the right move post flop to fold, it sounds like. Also, depending on what kind of game you are playing, limping with KJo in EP is not necessarilly a bad play preflop. All depends on the players you are playing. At lower limits you can often get away with it. At higher limits you're going to get raised before it gets around to the blinds, at which point you could have a problem on your hands.

2nd hand sounds all around fine. I think the PFR is fine. It sends the message you want to send. Someone with A2s hit is second 2 on the turn and got excited. If he's holding pocket 2s then there's not much you can do. You cant seriously lay down the nut FH.

Edit: One more thing, I think you bet the flop and turn correctly on the 2nd one. You can't let someone who may be holding and overpair like JJ draw you out. Raise, reraise, do what you must to get their chips in because youve got a monster.
