Also, if they call your raise and a blank comes on the turn you can usually bet again with confidence if checked to.

only when you play against competent/good players will aggression not be shown the respect it often is at small stakes, simple because it is just that: aggressive.

Min-raises on the flop (say $2.50 pot, I lead out $1.50, it comes back to me at $3 or $1.50 more) typically mean Top 2 or a set or more rarely TPTK, and even more rarely OESD or a FD. But almost always top 2 or a set.

Someone leading out on (say) a 10 high board on the flop and turn who checks the river to you can quite often be pushed off the hand -- if they weren't firing a first or second barrel at best they have TPTK and are showing they're aware enough that it's not always good. Pot it and watch 'em fold (read dependent, obviously).

"Oftentimes it is right to even fold AK. A substantial portion of a weak players reraising range includes AA and KK, so if you call you are behind his range typically. Plus you will likely get shut out on the flop and won’t get the full value for your AK by seeing the turn and river cards. AK is a strong hand, but in a cash game it’s typically a clear fold to a reraise if you will be out of position after the flop. If you beat at least 50 or 60% of the reraisers reraising range, then you should call with AK and sometimes even re-reraise."

so, how do you tell what his range is? does pokertracker help with this? you just have to watch him?

can someone please explain the reasoning behind "Be more willing to c-bet when you have outs, (like AK on a QJx board where you have at least a gutshot and tainted overcards). "
