OP,
look over in the right-hand margin on FTR's homepage. you will see a whole section dedicated to "US friendly" poker rooms. study their bonus offers and rakeback programs (you may have to do some searching on the web, too, to compliment what FTR gives you...which is a lot).
once you've picked one, or two, or three...lol, look at the "site" itself. you want to see who the most widely accepted "ewallet" is. i'm sure you will find it is "epassporte.com" right now.
study the terms and conditions for epass, or whoever you choose, before you set up your account. familiarize yourself with fees, times of withdrawals, etc, BEFORE you deposit money. you dont want any surprises in that area.
you want to pick an "ewallet" that is fairly universal so you can move your money rather freely between sites (for reload bonuses, tourneys, etc) and between your bank account/ATM card (for withdrawals and deposits).
if all else fails, you can find "universal visa gift cards," but i dont know which ones work and which will get declined.
oh, and in addition, you can always move your money between UB and AP free of charge. but, i dont know if you can capitalize on reloads when moving from one to the other.
while checking the "US friendlys," look at our users' reviews. they may help you to narrow your searching down to a couple places you would like to try.
hope that helps.

I think Click2Pay and Netteller are the most common ones. You may need a couple different services if you want to play on several net works.

My mistake, I just remembered seeing Click2Play on most of the US sites, but it seems it's there for their European users. I think you can still use Neteller tho' ?
Does any one know if the payment options are the same for each skin on the network? For instance, if you can use Neteller on Absolute, then can you use it on Vegas247, and the same for Cake, Prima, Merge, Digital etc. ? I haven't moved off UB since the European sites went down, but I want to start spreading out soon. I just down loaded all of the software for the 23 legal sites in the US, so if some one already collected the data, that'd be swell.

Ok, my banking laws must be totally different on account of me being in the military, just ignore me.
On a constructive note, UB upgraded their software to something that doesn't suck at Multi-Tabling, and they're pretty liberal with they're Visa deposits and bonuses.
Edit: Just so I'm not completely useless, this is the prepaid Visa you can use according to Pokerstar's customer support reps.
