These look like the same guys that buy/sell the W$ and T$.
One question though. Who the hells wastes time building up 1 million in play money just to sell it for $13???

Sell 1 mil, see if you actually get the $$, then sell the other 7.5. Then you can make some $$ for your time spent playing poker.

Someone in IRC gave me that link and I've been thinking of doing it just to say I did it (1 mil play chips isn't exactly a tough goal for even semi-decent players)

lol.
I have less play chips in my account than I started with. (And more real money than play chips)
I only played with play chips for about an hour to get a feel for the interface so I didn't make any misclicks for real money.
But, I have heard of similar legit sites who will pay you for play chips. You might even be able to google around and compare offers.
Good luck.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Hey guys,
I said I would replay and let you know of my experience selling chips to the above website....I was very weary at first so I went to the site, asked a few questions and decided to go ahead and transfer 1million chips to a player I was instructed to find sitting out on a table. I made a deal to send in incraments of 250K in return I would get $3.25.well......I must say, I was vert surprised when I checked the cashier about 5 minutes later and it was there........real money for fake chips....who would have thunk it? In total I got paid $13.00 (US) for 1 mil chips. I have done it twice since the first time and now have a nice little starting banroll. Wish me luck..........lol

Hey again, just wanted to post some results...I started my PS BR with $39.00 by selling play money, I took a liking to heads up SNG ($10.00+50) Since I started a few days back I have won 8 of 9. My BR is now over $120.00......

I don't want to put a damper on your fun, but you weren't (and probably still aren't) bankrolled for those (they're very high variance games). We wouldn't want you losing all your hard work!

lol........I kind of figured that but I wanted something that would help me build fast...I will now be switching to $5.00+.25 . I knew when I registered in the first one that I was probably screwing myself.....but hey it payed off. I will probably start playing the 4 player head's upSNG's ($5.00+.25) a bit to see how they go. Cuz you are right......I would hate to see all my hard work stacking play money go to waste. Even though I did leave myself some outs (4 MIL) that , if need be would help me restock.

Where are you playing that the rake is so small in SNGs?
Also, if you'd won 8 out of 9 $10 SNGs your BR would be over $500. Perhaps you're telling porkies...?

He's talking about heads up SnGs. The rake is lower on these and when you win you only profit $10.

You're having a good run at these so far, but these HU SNGs are very high-variance and you just don't have the bankroll for them, you should switch to regular SNGs ASAP. I would probably sell my last 4mil play chips and never look back as well.

You say you have $120 now? That plus about $35 more from selling your other play chips comes to a tad over $150?
This is a bankroll suited for playing the $5.50 SNGs (these require 20 buyins usually) and the 10NL tables (though, you should not jump into these tables, but should tough it out for a while in the 01/02 tables because even those will have a great difference in skill from your normal play money games)
You just gotta take this slowly and one step at a time.

PokerStars actually has a thing on their FAQ saying that if they find anyone selling or buying play money chips they'll have their account banned.
I, too, was looking into this awhile ago.

I now understand what you mean about HU being high-variance......I sat down to play last night, entered a $10.00+.50 HU and was destroyed within 10 minutes....I could not hit a single hand, and when I did I was creamed on the river. I entered another one after and same thing.....the cards were running very cold and I had no controll of the game. I decided to go check out the .1/.2 tables and didnt have much more luck there. I lost around $28 just last night...I know about tilt and play alot of live cash games so I was smart enought to chill out for the rest of the night, but I just wanted to tell you... THANKS...for looking out for the noob. lol
