I've been told to raise less and call often against an LAGG player. Especially when I have a strong hand last to act because the LAGG will bet for me. However when we're the only two in the pot and I'm first to act having a strong hand and theres no draws out there, would it be of an advantage to check the river and make LAGG bet (considering you know for sure he will) and make him fall into a trap?? I think you could get more value this way.

How about instead bet weak so he can raise you then you can 3-bet?

That's a possibility but do you think he'll be prone to aggression if you check rather than bet anything though? If you weak bet your opp. might suspect something.
