With aggressive play, you can make them pay for chasing in the long run. The odds will eventually work themselves out. However, you will always fight chasers as long as you play holdem.
Insane people are always sure that they are fine. It is only the sane people who are willing to admit that they are crazy.

I was just thinking the same thing as I was making my regular $500 cash-out. Damn chasers! How can we possibly beat this game with so many players chasing on bad odds?

Oh well, I guess now I need to figure out where to take my wife out to dinner. DAMN THEM!!!!

This phrase fits best here
"Every time you get outdrawn by someone calling big bets on a draw be thankful, you've just found another fish to add to your buddy list."

True true. I would much rather lose money to a chaser that I know is going to give it back to me, than say a player like fnord. Who's eating dinner with his wife on me.

You guys must have read me wrong. I've noticed alot of smart remarks and such since i started posting here. That doesnt seem to me the best way to make a forum grow and prosper.

I myself am up for the week but no matter when i lose to a chaser it bothers me. I just dont understand why they do it. I do not slow play, i make them pay out the rear but they still chase. I know overall i'm glad they are doing it but when they catch it stings. Thats all i was saying....

We're not trying to be smart with our remarks. We've all been through the same thing your going though. We've just come to realize even if you play it right you can still lose. But keep playing it right and you'll win over time.

But if this is more like the anser your looking for.. I deal with it by throwing something across the room and move on. I hate when it happens but I don't let it upset me for more than about 5 seconds.

Yeah don't take it the wrong way. We're really alot different from the other forums. I'll admit that we can be a bunch of smart asses here. But if you notice we never denegrate or use abusive language towards someone. We really try to crack jokes to make people forget their troubles.

Except for Fnord and Fishstick. They're a bunch of jerks. :P J/K.
We're just quirky that way.

shut it, fyrfytr, you suck! :P

yeah, i can't wait: www.fnordstick.com - all fishstick and fnord, all the time...

and kidthreat, remember, to make money in poker, you need to make fewer mistakes than your opponents. if they pursue a draw in spite of pot odds, they will lose over time.
i hate what i have become to escape what i hated being...
