What makes one person lucky and one person unlucky? Some people seem to have all the luck. Some people think that lucky people seem to have similar traits of personality. The "Lucky" person is usually the one with the positive attitude.
Everybody, please, share your opinions: what does luck in gambling depend from?

It is probably true that the "lucky" person has a positive attitude. The person who says: "I am so unlucky, I never win anything" probably does not enter as many competions, gamble as much or buy as many lottery tickets as the person who thinks they are "lucky".

All luck depends on chance. A person may flip a coin 10 times and it could land on heads every time. Flip a coin 100 million times and it won't land on heads every time (if it is fair). It landing on heads 50,000,010 times would be unremarkable. "Luck" does even out in the end.

I've always thought that lucky people generally have positive attitudes, are always open to new opportunities, and focus more on the good in their life than than the bad.

Unlucky people have more negative attitudes, ignore opportunities, and dwell on what's going wrong in their life.

I think I read something once that basically said: Two people walking down the street each find a penny. The "lucky" person sees the penny, picks it up, and thinks "How lucky, I found a penny!" The unlucky person sees the penny, thinks "Only a penny? Why can't I ever find a quarter?", and keeps walking.

I agree that the lucky ones have a positive attitude... But do they have positive attitude because they are lucky or are they lucky because of the positive attitude?

Luck is the manifestation of variance which cannot be controlled. Here is a jar of EVs for your trouble.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
