This is im sure the millionth set mining situation on these boards but my question here is it still profitable to stack off to sets if your still getting paid by other overpairs like KK, QQ JJ. PP was definatly in his range from flat call pf. Thought about folding to the raises on both flop and turn but convinced myself it could also be one of the overpairs so kept value betting. The King on the river meant I was also beat by that but i was pot committed by that point. For some reason I was trying to put him on QQ and kept value betting. What should be changed here. Checking any of the streets? Folding right away to a raise? Is this an ok play to get value from those other hands in the long run?

Sorry I can't import with bodog so ill just type it out

Why for the love of mike did you bet into him on the turn AND the river?

You OBVIOUSLY think you have the best hand so as played, just shove the turn and make him show you his set of sixes.

People at low limits tend to min raise with nut hands. Here its likely that he was min raising a set on the flop. I would have check called both the turn and the river considering the non-draw heavy board it isnt a terrible spot to give a free card

(1) Raise larger preflop. You made it 4bb with 3 limpers. Should be morelike $1.75 (7bb).

(2) Bet the flop larger.

(3) You can probably correctly fold to the flop raise. You are OOP, villain is raising on a non-flush board leaving little draws in his range. And his limp/calling range mainly consists of hands that smash this board (small pps, suited connectors, etc).

(4) You say you are hoping to get value from bigger overpairs; however, how likely is it he has larger overpairs TT-KK in his range? He limped behind two limpers, and only called your raise preflop. Does he really play TT-KK this way, and if not why are you including it as the main part of his range you are trying to get value from?
