If you eventually play enough at a high enough level, can you ask a site like FullTilt directly for rakeback? Do they fear losing players that make them a lot of cash?

You can ask alright. Might even work if you have enough volume. Idk

Of course, the thing to do is get it in the beginning when you sign up through a RB provider.

Fulltilt is pretty strict about things like that. It's too bad because I didn't know about RB when I signed up at FT either.

Absolutely, you can ask for rakeback from Full Tilt.

But you won't get it.

And metman04, I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think Xianti wants you posting that link.

HarleyGuy13 is on a distinguished road
I'm going to post a series of emails between myself and FT which may help clear things up. For those that don't want to read through the whole email series the just is FullTilt does not offer rakeback currently themselfs. Unfortionately I think you'll have to scroll down in order to get the correct order.

Hello James,

Thank you for your response.

We have added your username to our files for further consideration. Please note that our partnership with the affiliate Rakebackpros is in the testing phase, and a test group of players have been selected to participate.

Unfortunately, due to large number of players requesting rakeback, we have no fixed time frame. Please, be patience.

If the partnership continues and you are selected to receive rakeback from the affiliate you will receive a confirmation email from Full Tilt Poker.

We appreciate your understanding.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best of luck on the tables!

Kind Regards,

Rudolf

Rudolf,
First let me thank you for your speedy response! I will indeed be patient as I very much enjoy your site. I do however hope this issue is addressed in a timely fashion. I feel it is very unfortionate for those of us who started at the best site on the web to learn the game but then later find we are penalized for doing so!
I do understand it is not an option for start a new account in order to resign with an affiliate and I know this is against the rules. This is why I would be truly bother to have to leave FullTilt in order to gain what I could have easily recieved had I started at another inferior site. My trust and confidence are with FullTilt that they will get this resolved in a timely mannor.

Again thank your for your response, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Jim

Hello James,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker.

Full Tilt does not pay players rakeback directly. There are a number of rakeback affiliates who offer players up to 27% rakeback if they sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their site.

Please note that this is not an issue which can be solved by opening another account with Full Tilt Poker, it is against our site policy to open more than one account. Though you could cease using your account, we do not remove it from our system, nor do we freeze accounts in order for players to create new ones.

However, we do value your continued support of Full Tilt Poker, and we are currently looking into organizing something that will help players who are not already attached to an affiliate. We have added your username to our files for further consideration. Please be patient.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best of luck on the tables!

Kind Regards,

Rudolf

Gentlemen or Ladies I am writing in hopes of obtaining Rake Back on my account. As I understand it rack back is only available to those who sign up for a new account and request rack back. I have been playing on Full Tilt for awhile now and very much enjoy the site and my hopes are to coninue to play on Full Tilt. My problem/concern is I like many other new players had no knowledge of things such as rack back when I bagan playing on Full Tilt. Now that my knowledge and skills have increase, although the skills have increased very minimally, I want to receive rack back. I have read on many forums that if one makes a loud enough noise you have made it available. My hopes are by mearly asking you can help me out. I don't want to make a long drawn out issue of this but I am insistant that I either find a way of receiving rake back at my preferred site, Full Tilt, or I need to find a NEW site.

Please advise me as to how we can make this a win win situation for both you and I.

Thank you,

Jim
