littleogre has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Was just playing the prima freeroll to try and add a couple bucks to my br. I have around 4700 and the BB is 500. Sadlyi am having trouble Dling my hand histories at the moment. A short stack player was forced all in by the sb and it is folded around to me. I figure the blinds are more then likely weak. So i go allin. At this point the pot has around 5400. The BB needs to call 4900 as he already has 500 in the pot. He has A/4 and spikes a 4 on the flop . The way i look at it is he has to know he is a best a slight fav and at worse a huge dog. Also I don't mind at all that he made the call. I wish people would always call me with a weaker ace One other thing you had no reason to expect a bluff as i had only shown down good hand at that table and we can't use the big stack excuse either as he only had like 200 bucks more then me. In closeing i wasn't sure wether to put this here or in the hand history forum as i do not have a true hand history of this hand.

Ok but do any of you have any tips on avoiding the fate i always receive in mtts freerolls or not. I play a tight aggresive style with a blind steal here and there. I do they best i can to build my stack but almost every time i end up taking a big hit from someone that sucks out. It's like double up double up then loose 90 ercent of my chips when some dude calls my allin raise with a inferior hand like any paint or any connector.

Quit playing poker. Seriously, that's the only those beats are going to stop. Think about it, if you're a good player and you always get your money in with the best hand, then the only way you're going to lose is by taking a bad beat.

You just have to wait for that one time in a gazillion when the 50/50s (and 75/25s) all chose to go your way., Then you might win the MTT.
It is pretty unlikely you are going to be able to blind steal your way to a big stack in a freeroll since everyone is so fearless. You just need to try and play well and get in with the best of it whilst trying to avoid bigger stacks than you.
If you get a 75/25 against a big stack then go for it, you have to make chips somewhere. If you get a 50/50 then probably dont.

Triptan3s i know i want them to try and suckout and sadly atleast in tourneys it's usually the guy with more money then me that ends up sucking out. I think i will try and be more patient in tourneys and see how that works out. So far i have been willing to challenge the other stacks if i feel i have even a small advantage. Maybe i should wait untill i have atleast a 70/30 advantage before i put all my chips in vs a stack that can kill or cripple me
