It's obvious he hits his flush with 4 hearts on the board. Anything I can learn from this one? I keep questioning why I called suited Q from the SB anyway. I hate playing OOP.
I don't need to tell you guys the results. No real info on the villan, but impression is a standard player.

We can't see the pocket cards, sorry. I'm guessing you had Qx of hearts, in which case you played it fine.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Third nuts.
I wouldn't bet the flop against loose opponents. The rest seems fine. Yes, you could be beat, but you can't possibly lay it down on the river for that price. Checking the river wouldn't be good either. You're getting payed off here a lot by worse hands.

Less than two orbits..maybe 15 hands. His play so far had been standard.

Personally I am ok with the flop bet. You have 2nd pair and a strong FD.
IMO, your only mistake was the pre-flop call and even that was a small mistake. Other than that you played the hand fine.
