This is Howard Lederer forumla for percentages. First you take you outs, Lets get real outlandish. So the flop read 10hJh4c your holding A4 hearts. How many outs do you have? Well all depends what you think your oppenent has. Say we think he has no better the a solitary pair of jacks. Well you ahve 14 outs with two cards dealt to come, 14x4 %56
Ok say you oppenent has a Set of jacks. What are are outs now? just 9
so 9 x 4 is %36 percent. Ok one more hand with cards dealt to 4th st. The board reads 7A4J All diamonds. you holding 77 so you there for have a set. You know you oppenent has made his flush cuz he said all in to you. So whats ur percent well you have 10 outs with a Quad possibliity and pairing the board. So you gonna go 10x2 is %20.
So with 2 cards to come you multiply outs by 4, and with one card to come you multiply your outs by 2. Hope anyone who wants to know how to caculate odds has learned something from this
Any questions feel free to post!
If you can't beat em the first time....................Rebuy!

The guy is just trying to help out. A simple "most of us already know this and there's a odds guide on this site" would be sufficient.

Welcome to forums, hope you browse the site a little more now.
