fold to flop 3b

i'd fold pre.
as played i'd fold flop because he has 66/99/TT/78/9T , rarely to never 69/T6 whic i think he's rather call and overpairs/OESD are not 3betting flop enough times to make it a call or shove over.

but this is my nit reasoning, i am curious why others would call/4bet/fold in this spot or even call preflop if there are players that call pre.

Are we really not jamming the flop here in a BvB battle? How many times does villain assume we're up to monkey business and doesn't believe our flop raise? And how many villains at 25nl wouldn't 3bet an overpair BvB to a raise from a likely top pair?

Clearly if they are "honest" and operating with Razvan's perceived range, we are crushed. If we give them a range of 99+/66/T9s/78s then we're ahead and not far behind if we throw in T9o and 78o.

Fold pre if you dont want to stack here imo, fold is probably better just because we dont know much about villain (how to play these spots etc) so the value of position goes down + our hands isnt great tbh, sure the boards dry as shit, but i dont really want to fold to his 3b, its fairly polarizing so flatting is better (maybe this is wrong b/c 25nl and can he could 3bet/call his over pairs pretty easily) But i like call 3bet call shove ott

i probably play this hand roughly the same way you did. that's not saying it's the right way to play it though

Calling pre and folding to the 3b is kinda bad imo.

Folding pre is fine,
1. He is unknown seemingly nitty are the only reads we have
2. We flopped towards the top of our best case scenarios and now we want to fold?
3. If we want to 'not be exploitable' there are soooo many better hands to call with to lead us into better situations. If we are calling with T9o were are calling a pretty huge % of our entire range in this spot, even vs a SB RFI of ~50% T9o is pretty marginal id be more inclined to play tighter for sure given our reads/absence of reads
4. Id rather call with 75s

I'd like to know he's very weak/exploitable postflop before calling with T9o.

Would 3bet pre if he's stealing wider than his VPIP indicates, expecting to take down the pot nearly always. This seems like an ok hand for our C range in this spot.

No idea what's best on the flop here, I'd probably play it the same way at the table.

how many 25nl baddies in this spot will call QJ, KQ, JT+, JJ+ to your raise and never 3b them? a lot of them. now when they 3b and to this particular size how often do they have the goods? a lot.

preflop - folding isn't terrible, calling is fine
flop - raising is good, once you face the third bet things get pretty close without reads. He beats jacks about always. Dunno, is QQ+/TT/99/66/78/9T too optimistic?

Pre is a call, it isn't close at all.
