Recently, I have started playing online poker in hopes that I can make some cash. Previous to me playing online, I used to play with friends and what not. I consider myself a halfway decent player, and in the past 3 or 4 days (since I started playing) I have made the money in about half my games on Fult Tilt, playing mainly 5$ Sit n Goes. I was just wondering if this is a good way to build up your bankroll? Should I just continue small bit by bit? And move up to 10 and 20 dollar buy ins? Please note, I am a poor college student lol, so my bankroll at the moment is very small.

Nope.. this is august.
Good BR management month was last month.
Take your $76 bucks and buy into a 1/2nl game, and shove on your first AXo and profit.

The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

He's only 80% guaranteed to win that though. Too risky for a whole bankroll IMO.

I don't think he's serious... and if he is, God bless him.
lol, Nah I think you should be looking more toward 1 dollar SNG's or 2NL cash games. The reason being variance, as you say, you probably don't want to have to redeposit at all, and that is going to be a tough task playing 5$sng's w/ 76 bucks. I think its anywhere from 50-100 Buy-ins worth you need to have in your account... Check out some BR managment threads, you'll find them very helpfull.

read the sng digest 1st before venturing any higher
at FT,i recommend starting out at 2.25 buy-in,the 1 dollar buy in at FT is useless, the players are the same at 2.25.
have at least 30-50 buy in for SNG.
