Ive heard mixed reviews on the best way to build a bankroll online...some say 1 table SNGs some say grind it out at cash games. Any opinions from people who have done it?

deposit $50 bucks on pokerstars... play 2NL until you can beat it.... then play 5NL until you can beat it.... then play 10NL until you can beat... and so on...

you must understand that no matter how high you move up you will always suck and you must always get better...

pick at least one day a week not not play poker and to review your hands if you have tracker and study them... ask for help on the forums...

Jason is an unknown quantity at this point
I agree cash games are the best way to build a bankroll and I also agree with depositing a small amount and playing $2NL first and working your way up. Follow conservative bankroll management. Keep working on your game. Move up when you can. Move down when you have to. And have fun.

As long as you have a roll and good skills you are ready to build a roll. Sngs are very easy to win and you get a lot of skill on the way. But NL is usually very easy as well. Anyways you should aim at becoming better and not even care about your roll. Your roll will take care of itself.

Ive built from scratch up to the $1,500 range twice with sngs and 3 times with ring games.

Both are very different creatures.. both are fine ways to build a BR.. I suggest cash first to learn the basics of deep stack play.. I think you'll be a much better MTT/SNG player in the long run if you eventually decide to move to those.
