After reading the br management article on FTR's beginner's guide. I will start with a 40 dollar deposit into pokerstars playying 2$ NL . My goal is to play 1 2 Limit. Is this goal too big considering the level im at now and how much should I have before playing 12 limit comfortably.

For limit games, you need 300BB for the level you want to play.

And no, it's not too big of a goal. You just gotta have some patience when playing the micro's. I'm right there with you man, but I wanna get to 1/2 NO LIMIT lol.  But seriously, if you just practice proper BR management, and play solid ABC poker, you'll reach your goal in no time  .

if limit is your game, you probably should be starting with limit, instead of NL

if your goal is 1/2 limit then play 0.02/0.04 limit...
