If I think villain will call, is a push good here despite the turn possibly filled a straight?

A push is probably +EV there since he'll have TP or 2 pair more often than the straight and he'll probably call with 2 pair anyway.

Id prefer to make a normal sized bet though and hopefully stack some 1 pair hands aswell and maybe boat up on the river Vs a straight.

If I bet and he raises im not folding unless hes reallllllly passive.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

Suppose I make a pot-size bet and it gets called; I have now $1.07 left. Suppose the river comes Qc. Now there's a 4-to-a-straight, 3-to-a-flush on the board (less worried about hat). I don't know what to do here. Push? Block bet/fold to raise? Check/call? Check/fold? I just realized that not knowing what to do in this case is probably why I want to push the turn.

youll be pot comited on the river unless you checkd the turn....wich is horrible. I think shoving here is fine, i think pelions line is ok too but maby to fancy for .01.02. if you make a pot size bet here two pair will probly shove, TPTK will probly shove. The only time you may want to fold river is if the Qc hits. and even then its a thin fold. I stack more people with sets then any other hand (50NL).
