I've been playin on stars forever now and i'm looking to start other accounts with the money i've won and grab as many bonuses as possible. Anyone have info or know where I can learn the best way of going about this? FYI I'm a US player. Thanks!

My only comment is that you gotta switch a bunch of cash to make it worth doing imo. I wouldn't bother unless I was going to be able to play the same games I'm playing on my original site, which would mean transferring my whole bankroll (unless you got a WAY big cushion).

Oh also, being that you're american, be warned that since January the government UGIEA rules have come into effect so the banks are even more crazy about locking down deposits to poker sites, so hopefully you're planning on using something like western union or whatever, not a credit card, echeck or similar.

Really? That sucks. It won't be long before I expect to be moving my bankroll from PS to FTP to take advantage of the Rakeback and bonuses from a $600+ bankroll.

So is there some information out there regarding the best way to go about doing this? Instant e-checks worked fine for me for PokerStars in the last week of December, but if things have changed since the new year that is obviously irrelevant.

Instant eChecks still works fine, as it is a third party handling company that has no ties to major US Banks. They charge a small fee that Stars gladly plays in order to keep players on their site.

Get a debit card from your local credit union. They work fine, too. So does Western Union, which some sites are picking up the fee for now. The US market is too huge for these sites to not provide an adequate workaround for deposits and withdrawals. I could see them going so far as helping players set up foreign accounts, if it came to that.
