I'm missing the lesson here. Maybe if I knew what (lc) meant, it would be clear.
Could the lesson be:
1) With JJ, don't be scared of an A-high flop. Go AI to prove your not scared.
2) With JJ, if you are scared of an A-high flop. Go AI as a semi-bluff and pretend you're not scared.
3) Results don't matter if you get your monies in with the best hand.
Fnord, please continue the lesson.

These look pretty broad for this hand. (edit: oops, 3 is good)
Just my guess, but I think you may be over-looking the villian's stack size?
Where do you get the most value:
a) bet out half the pot at most (half-pot putting the villian all-in)?
b) c/c to at most half the pot?
c) c/f to at most half the pot?

Actally, 1 & 2 were just sarcasm because I'm missing the lesson here.
Yea, I think you're right. I suppose that folding the flop is -EV. And considering villians stack size, an AI with a small effective stack is a good play since a) villian could fold and b) You could have villian beat.

I thought pre-flop was a pretty non-standard play.

For me, a noob 10NL player it would be a non-standard way to play JJ/TT. I can't judge the play at your level. Judging by the villians play, either he thought he had a read on you or your level loves PP's and/or bluffing.

BN has quite a few hands I crush, a couple that crush me and a lot that I'm flipping against (assuming that he doesn't fold overs on the flop.)
SB has something like QQ/AKish almost always.
Re-raise.

fnord - you say SB has QQ/AKish because he's still folding most other PP lower than QQ in fear of a 4bet from you?
Preflop from not only you but everyone is kind of interesting so just wondering.

My default play in original hand would be to c/c flop.
Why is leading better?

Just playing to improve.

Fold equity?
That would seem to be the only answer to your question, but I guess I don't see any hands that beat us that fold at 3 to 1.
Maybe wrong, tho.
