I'd love to get your thoughts, in particular those of my peers and people like Renton who were at these levels fairly recently but have moved up, but anyone who has observations, the more the better!

(these 10k hands are roughly 60% at £25NL, 20% at $25NL and 20% at $50/£50NL)

What changes, if any, did you make in your game to reverse that nasty downswing?

Calling fewer re-raises, tighening up bluffs and c-bets, but not a huge deal to be honest. I had a REALLY shitty load of negative variance - AA was in the red over that period, for example. So I'm sure you can throw in a bit of tilt as well

Looks good. Congrats on recovering from the downswing. As an aside, since reading NLHE T&P I've opened up my pre-flop limping range in MP and especially LP. Of course it's table-dependent, but I'm limping suited connectors, suited gappers and higher unsuited connectors. I'm usually folding the flop, but I bet my strong draws and occasionally steal or float with the right read. It's been working really well for me the past 5,000 hands or so. Just thought I'd mention it because before that my pre-flop stats were really similar to yours, but now my VPIP is up to 24. Mileage may vary...

Renton will become famous soon enough
you could probably stand to tighten up in early position more, and to raise a little more in places where you'd normally limp.

Anyone else think those flop/turn/river aggression factors are little wonky? Shouldn't they decline in order?

Mine is 5 on the flop, 2 on the turn, and 3 on the river. I make thin bets and raises on the river a lot.

I think am too scared of being bluffed out of pots so I'm always making blocking/value bets or, sometimes, bluffs of my own.

I am moving up gradually - I usually play say 2 tables of £25, I $50 and one £50 (if it's available). But $50NL at crypto has been sooo tight lately that I'm struggling to make anything from it. Still having a go though (and getting $100 a month bonus and 37% rb in case anyone wonders why I play there).

Hah - I was off sick yesterday, played 1,500 hands at -8BB/100, all at $25 or £25. Was down 4 buyins on one table alone for a while. On one side I am still trying to get the hang of 6max properly - I seem to end up with 27/14 type stats when I play there which seems about right to me, but clearly I'm doing something wrong. Unless it's just big variance - I did make a few buyins at 6max too on other tables. Meh, I dunno.

UPDATE: here's my last 10k graph - pretty much follows on exactly from the last graph (at the top of this thread). Notwithstanding my disastrous efforts at $100NL - it's the last mini-downswing on the graph - I'm pretty happy with this.

Looks great. Anything of 10bb/100 is amazing. Post your VPIP/Position stats too like earlier?? Which levels are you playing mostly at?

That two and a half buyin drop at $100 the other night knocked me a bit. That graph is 90% £25NL, 10% $50-$100NL, and about 75% 6max.

I will give $100 another go - probably later today. I'll let you know how it goes. Oh, and I owned $50NL 6max yesterday, which was nice.

Just play 10K hands 100NL and don't look at results while you play.
