In Sklansky NL HE theory and practice, Sklansky recomends betting bigger with a big hand and smaller with a small hand.
I was watching a Green Plastic (cardrunners) cash game video today and he said that at lower stakes betting less with bigger hands pf will get more callers. and betting bigger will get more folders. so with a hand like AA at lower stakes he would raise less than he would with 79s to induce callers. this is intuitive. cheaper to play = more players.
sklansky says big hand = big pot. he also says this is intuitive.
what do you think?
PS - Green Plastic said this would be a silly idea at higher stakes.

Seems reasonable, but the only problem is that multiways are generally honest because everyone's scared of their neighbours hammering them if they try to make a play without the best hand. This takes away from the heads-up pot value of playing fast and getting your opponent to out-think themselves (i.e. putting you on missed overcards, not being able to fold a lower overpair, floating, etc.)

is this pre or postflop? i didn´t read NLHE T&P yet, but as explained i don´t like this idea prf.
a) while speculative hands do well in multiway pots our big pairs lose value with every caller in the hand. i don´t want 3 or 4 opp seeing a flop with AA
b) if we make the betsize a function of our hand strentgh we could play our cards face up as well.
postflop this makes sense. betting big with an overpair is intuitive, not because we´re strong, but ppl could easily draw out on our one pair hand while we mostly don´t have many ways to improve.
vice versa drawing hands want as many callers in the pot as possible to get good odds to draw.
