Does anybody have any advice on what game to play to build a solid bankroll. Right now my roll can only support playing micro stakes so I'm playing 6 max .10 nl and I'd rather play a full ring or tournament but don't know if it would be easier to make money then it is now.

How are you doing now? I'm guessing your not making a killing or you wouldn't be asking. As a self professed non expert the trend I have seen is for newer players to play more weak tight. The best thing I've seen in awhile for that is to read Robb's 5k hand post. It is in this forum and I think is a solid base for a start. I personally find it more comfortable starting at FR rather than 6 max. I find I can still profit at 6 but am more swingy. I think this is inexperience getting me into situations I'm not able to think thru quickly enough.

I think that you really can't go wrong with ANY of the micro level games.

However, I do think that some people might be naturally "wired" for one type of game over another. That's not to say that you can't get good at them all eventually, but that you should try everything for a little while to see where you feel more comfortable.

Also I recommend spending WAAAY too much time reading and thinking about poker instead of spending all of your "poker time" at the tables. This is easier if you have a job with Internet access and lots of down time.
