Hi,

I have been playing poker for something like a year now and I'm currently playing SNG Only 10-15$ buy-in with a BR arround 800$. I used to have Pokeroffice but the overlay only confused me and I drew too much attention to the stats and forgot to play the game. However, I think its better to track your stats and analyze it . Since I play at UB and I cant see my stats at sharkscope. Pokeroffice also cant be used with UB, therefore my question wheather I should buy Pokertracker or is there maybe a free tool to track stats?

Thx in advance

Showtime

PT is def. the way to go. I was down over $700 two months ago after an untimely withdrawl for personal reasons, and the decision to switch from SnG's to 6-max ring. I decided to buy PT one week instead of a $50 deposit. I searched the forums for that week instead of playing. The next week I deposited and have been moving up steadily ever since. I love PT because I can easily review, watch, analyze, and catagorize my past hands, sessions, months, weeks, etc.

I don't know if everyone finds it this helpful, but I know that most, if not all of the major contributors to this site use it. That tells me something right there. If you can find one for free, then more power to you. However, I doubt it is as thorough as the PT database will be.

So, IMO, PT will more than pay for itself within a couple of months.

Poker tracker is very good for cash games. Not sure if it is quite as useful for sngs.
