    Default Beginners questions

New here. Been playing online for a little bit and had a few questions.

First, I struggle playing multiple tables, but would like to start playing more than 1. Any suggestions on how to start increasing the amount of tables you play?

Second, how the heck do you guys get the hands posted with the pictures and stuff. i would like to start posting hands to get better, but not sure how to do all that. Please forgive my ignorance and be easy on me. Thanks in advance for your replies

i think you're referring to hud software to post graphs etc and track your results. two main ones are holdem manager and Pokertracker. they both come with a one month free trial and you should try them before buying. only caveat is that you can't use them at bovada to give you a hud on the table.

Or he means the HH converter, which by the way converts the hand histories in that software. We have a HH converter here on FTR. If you hve a hand you would like to post feel free to post it and we can convert it for you and show you how.

As for more tables, you need to start with 2, build to 3 over time and then 4. It takes time and learning to get your preflop game known and understood. If you are playing less than 20% of hands it shouldn't be too hard to play at least two tables.

    And welcome to the forum

Baring in mind that I'm basically a newbie at this point too, solidify your preflop strategy and learn to stick to it, make adjustments in time once you are both positionally aware (meaning that your preflop decisions are different based on position, and you consider the post flop implications of your position in that decision) and have more postflop experience.

Second, how the heck do you guys get the hands posted with the pictures and stuff.

Just paste your hand history in there.

You can display the card pictures manually by typing them in like follows, but without spaces between the characters.

Yeah, this. One a lot of your decisions become automated through study and experience, it becomes easier to add tables.

Mass multi-tabling is hugely overrated though - any more than a thousand hands per hour and I think it would be difficult for your win rate to not start taking a dive.

I know it's not cash, and that freerolls are hard to find these days, but maybe playing 2-3 freerolls at a time can help you practice more tables at the same time.

You can export ur hands from programms like pokertracker/ holdemmanager with pictures and stuff. For multitabling try tableninja/starshelper or free scripts. All these programs offer trial periods. Check em out.
If things were to magically revert to January 1st, 2003, only I could take everything I know now in terms of poker ability/knowledge, bonus clearing, etc., I think it's safe to say that it would be trivially easy to make over a million dollars.

There is nothing wrong with simply playing one table while you get a grip of the basics. Try the programs one by one, again whilst only playing one table.
Currently grinding live cash games. Life is good.

    Default Try with HUDs

I think you can try with Leak Buster HUDs to solve your problem. I am also newbie to poker and using this software. But not so much familiar with it. But it is getting amazing to me day by day.

I see there is an issue with the word censor and links, sorry about that, working on fixing it.
